How To Format Your "Works Cited" Page

The "Works Cited" may be the most important page in a research paper. It demonstrates that you did extensive research, you DID NOT plagerize your information, and that you are organized. Organization is key in a research paper. If you follow these steps, you are garunteed a 50 Point Classwork Grade. If you do not follow these steps, you are garunteed to have a tough time writing your research paper and you will lose many points.
You should have now collected at least 10 sources for your research paper. You need at least one print source, at least one EBSCOhost source, and at least one Google Scholar source, but the goal at least 10 sources.
Once you have your document in size 11 font with all of your sources, it should look something like the document to the right. Notice how not all of the sources have authors. This is acceptable ONLY if the rest of the citation is properly done. If it looks messy, DON'T PANIC! Your next step will be to clean it up with some formatting and adjustments. |
